No, this is not a political endorsement.
Yes, I'm talking about Fat Family, that wonderful Jefferson Parish tradition a whole 14 months in the making. Where else, except maybe Bronson, Missouri could something named Fat Family sound like a fun time?
Imagine, Billy Ray Cyrus will be there!
Let's see what Bill Hicks would have said about Fat Family...it starts at 2:11 in the video, or read the text.
Good evening! I'm very excited to be here tonight, and I'm very excited because I got some great news today. I've finally got my own TV show coming out as a replacement show this fall! It's not a talk show.
It's a half-hour weekly show that I will be hosting, entitled "Let's Hunt and Kill Billy Ray Cyrus".
I think it's fairly self-explanatory. Each week we let the Hounds of Hell loose and chase the jar-head, no talent, cracker-asshole all over the globe till I finally catch that fruity little ponytail of his, pull him to his chippendale's knees, put a shotgun in his mouth and "pow".
Man...I love stuff that's real. Stuff like the real Mardi Gras.
Stuff like what's pictured in this video of "The Sinister Minister" by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. Check out the pre-K backdrop.
Just do me with a tuning fork, thank you.

Bwah ha ha ha. Fat Family. Hee Hee Hee.

Hee! That Bill Hicks bit is JUST what I thought of, too. I'd also have thought you'd illustrate the Fat Family concept with those two massive guys on scooters that were in the Guinness Book of World Records...

Liprap, that was the second choice.

Heard Hannah Montana was going to Family Gras. Maybe that will get Chris Rose out of New Orleans for at least a little while.

I just sent this post to a bunch of my friends as I agree with most of what you’re saying here and the way you’ve presented it is awesome.
