Front page in Canada's national newspaper: Helen and Paul, laughing.
Attraction to New Orleans turns tragic for Canadians.
Halifax arts community devastated.
Year off to bloody start in New Orleans.
If we have to leave New Orleans, it will be to Chicago, for my work, or Lafayette, or out of the USA. We are not Americans, even in the eyes of Canadians and Canadiens. They know.
Thanks, J. Musco.

Well, if things get really bad, let me know...I realize Red (neck) Stick isn't your cup of tea, but I'd be happy to host the La Familia Morris for as long as you'd need...provided you didn't mind my cat, who actually rules the place (he's kind enough to let me live here, which is nice, considering that I feed him, clean his litter box, and pay all the bills).

It is horrible that this was not recognized by D.C., but then it shows that we have a violent society, and Canada does not.
That is why they notice when their citizens are murdered.
