"On December 2, 1956, 82 men landed in Cuba, having sailed in the boat Granma from Tuxpan, Veracruz, ready to organize and lead a revolution..."
Just curious, why does the USA have an infant mortality rate of 6.43 deaths per 1000 live births, and Cuba has an infant mortality rate of 6.22/1000 live births? Maybe the same reason Cubans get free health care?
I really don't know.
I do know that the embargo needs to end, now.
They used to have free phones and health care and might still. Cigars were optional.

Sir,
Methinks you have ulterior motives for this post. This isn't really about infant mortality rates, now, is it?
Could it have to do with smokes and rum?

Amen. The people I met in Cuba were amazing!

We are unique in the Western "advanced" world for the death penalty and no national health insurance. What was this I hear about a "culture of life?"

They get Free Cigars too. Vicky can attest to this (not saying that she actually smokes cigars....). The younger folks don't smoke cigars, so they end up selling their monthly allotment to the touristos. Not bad if you can sell a box of legitimate Cohiba Robustos for $55-75.
Yes, indeed--Hasta La Victoria Siempre. Patria o Muerte.
