This evening, I threw out all my pennies. I dumped all the revere ware. I yanked out my ancient plumbing and replaced it with PVC.
I don't want any copper in my house.
Why this fumbling castoff from the Cowboys beat out the Beerman and Devery into the starting lineup, I will never know. Also, why his special teams ability allowed him to displace Fred McAfee will always be a mystery to me.
Bright side: a non-conference game; the dirty birds lost; Colston is still gold, Joe Horn should play next week.
5 fumbles in a game is not good; 3 fumbles lost, one during the last minute of play, is horrific.
At least Payton has guaranteed the playoffs.
Why does NOLA love these Saints so much? Well, because they are not the most naturally talented group: instead, they work harder, they don't make mental mistakes, they don't make stupid penalties, they don't make turnovers. We don't need spectacular, we want consistent.
They work harder, they want it more, they don't make stupid mistakes. This is our team.
Not today.
They had a bad day against the current Super Bowl champions (no matter what their record). It was bound to happen, sooner or later, but this isn't the same old Saints. I fully expect them to bounce back next week.

Tough day, too bad we spoted them 14 points in the 1st quarter. I thought the turning point was reggie's fumble the Saint's seemed to lose the upper hand at that point.
