Yeah, for the price of the ticket to do this thing, they really should give you Faberge.
BUT:
It was actually really awesome. Great music, kind of pissy balloon-animals clown, face painting, bouncy house, bunnies you could pet, a mini horse, and of course the easter egg hunt.
The funny part was that they had way too many eggs for the number of kids that showed up. They separated the hunt to babies (1-5) and kids (6 and up) so the little ones got to find something too. They had a limit of 12 eggs per kid but by the time Katerina came back from her round of easter egg hunt, she had maybe 50 of them. There were just too many eggs lying around.
So now they are fighting (of course) over who will have more of the empty plastic shells in their bucket. I don't quite understand the purpose of the fight since the shells are EMPTY. All the little toys they got are lying around but they fight over the empty shells. Hmm. Maybe they should just get empty shells for Easter. Would save on cleaning up chocolate from everything they own.
Oh, after Katerina had a mild fight with they pissy clown, she got ALL of the balloons that were attached to the gate. The kid almost flew away.
I am laughing so hard at the mental picture I have of Katerina arguing with the clown. What a hoot!

It's pity that we already do not understand children actions. But it's great that they had a lot of fun
