Ashley's home page is gone
DePaul pulled Ashle's home page. No more professor Che. For some reason I always think that the work he did both here and at DePaul was more important than time or death. And then they prove me wrong.
I really hate when he is being erased from history.
He's still in my cell phone contacts list. Which is why I always freak out a little when you call me from the home phone and I look at the caller id.

I won't be forgetting him anytime soon.

You would think they would name a forum for him so that his students and future computer disciples would have a place to discuss...and inspire other like-minds to aspire to his level.

Looks like that page was on a separate machine from their main web pages. Maybe it was the one in his office?
I'll bet they'd give you the contents of the page if ask soon.

Did a little more checking. Ashley registered that domain, and just set it to point to (what must have been) his desktop machine at CTI. Probably, they're just now moving it, and didn't even realize that his web site was on that machine. You can take over the registration, and have it point to this site. It looks like it's registered through Yahoo - http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results.jsp?domain=ashleymorris.com .

At least some of it is still on the Wayback Machine.

I'm in town this weekend - I'll come by Sunday afternoon before the party, and see if we can figure it out.
