It's a good idea. When my poker table decided to combine the game of "Pass the trash" (or "Stacks") with side bets involving the horrible tasting Harry Potter jelly beans, we entered a whole new world of juvenile gambling fun.

Trying not to blow chunks at the very thought...

Bertie Bott missed a bet on this one.
And I love some of those flavors ... the black pepper for one, and Wes loved the anchovy one. The dirt and vomit flavored ones, not so much.

I had some pretty bad ones a few weeks ago. Can't find a link to the product, though. http://lostineaston.blogspot.com/2008/03/awesome-idea.html
It's definitely better than vomit.

FormerlyLatinTeacher, you, and stuffing easter eggs with high-carb candy last night made me think of this. Well, it made me think of jellybeans. The crab boil came from some nasty Alton Brown catfish recipe where he says "use crab boil; I recommend Old Bay", and I used Old Bay proportions, but Zatarain's liquid content. Bam, indeed.

That's awesome.
FWIW, I use crab boil to cook my corned beef on St. Patrick's day. I use a little of the Zatarain's liquid and couple of tablespoons of one of the bags. I don't care for Old Bay.
PS - I am back to teaching Latin in September.
